The Zika Virus
The zika virus disease is the first emerged 50 years ago.
The outbreaks occurred in the Americas, Africa, Asia , and the pacific Islands .In February 2016, the World Health Organization designated the Zika virus a public health emergency of international concern, estimating up to 4 million people could be infected by year’s end. Since May 2016, almost 60 countries have reported local Zika transmissions.  Zika is spread mostly by the bite of an infected.
 
 
 
There is no vaccine or medicine for Zika. The Florida Department of Health has identified an area in one neighborhood of Miami where Zika is being spread. Zika virus is a mosquito-borne flavivirus that was first identified in Uganda in 1947.Zika virus disease is not clear, but is likely to be a few days. The symptoms are similar to other arbovirus infections such as dengue, and include fever, skin rashes, conjunctivitis, muscle and joint pain, malaise, and headache. These symptoms are usually mild and last for 2-7 days.
